White walls, floor to ceiling windows, classic architectural detailing, modern furnishings…what’s not to love about this Parisian pied-à-terre?
Joseph Dirand designed this beautiful home in Saint-Germain-des-Prés focusing on maximizing light while using restraint in working with a limited color palette of white, black and grey. The sand colored, natural parquet floors and gold accents in the fixtures and veining in the marble keep the interiors warm and far from stark. The tall windows introduce green from the outside terrace adding a natural element to the space. Bold art, sculptural lighting and contemporary furniture stand on their own against the white paneled back drop.
Old with new, traditional with contemporary, natural floors with white walls…these are favorite design elements that I personally love and always return to.

This is beautiful! I love the scale of the low seating arrangements.

I could move in and feel right at home. Love this eclectic interior and the artwork and the architecture and the colour scheme.
