An editorial in Marie Claire Hungary includes all the key pieces I’ve been posting about and am excited for this Spring. Even better, they’re styled in my favorite pale neutrals, white and ivory. Featuring natural beauty, Vanessa Axente, the simple but strong silhouettes look anything but basic.
The high-waisted cropped pant is an absolute must for spring and going forward. The khaki pair from Salvatore Ferragamo above is a winner. White shirts, with an interesting detail, like the sheer piecework on the Jean Paul Gaultier above, are forever pieces…can’t get enough of these.
A belted coat, here from Gucci, looks great over pants, skirts, dresses…everything. A simple dress to take you anywhere…from day to night, with flats or heels is an essential in white from Ralph Lauren.
A touch of fringe makes a statement for sure, but done quietly, as Tom Ford, looks elegant. I just wrote a post on this Marni perfect coat the other day…and I’m still on the hunt for it online.
Perforated details, on skirt and top from Marni, give basics an update and look just as great on clothing as on the accessories in this post. Fresh faced, natural makeup always compliments striking fashion and I personally prefer the under done looks in this editorial to styled hair and perfect make up.
