It’s not often I see a collection and love every single piece, as a matter of fact, this might be the first. There is plenty to be excited about with Tomas Maier’s Resort 2015 collection…namely the wearable, simple, casual designs. The focus of his signature collection is on quality everyday clothes and accessories, all at price points well below Bottega Veneta, the other collection he designs. For Maier fans, there is an added bonus with a Tomas Maier store opening this fall on Madison Avenue. His sense of practicality in design is extended to his business sense where he intends to keep price points down by lowering overhead…meaning no runway shows or advertising campaigns.
That being said, I have my eye on a black wool pea-coat with cropped skinnies, khaki dresses with saddle-colored leather accessories, a Japanese denim shirtdress and skirt, all pulled together with sharp, wide belts at the waist and flats. These are a few of my favorites, but there are plenty more pieces to love. All are extremely wearable, stylish and exactly how I want to dress most days.

You weren’t kidding- every single piece seems like it would get a lot of use in my closet, too. I like that pea coat and the belts are gorgeous.
