When I think about the go-to pieces in my closet, they are all slight variations on the classics…blazers, full pants, jeans, a tote. I don’t steer too far away from a neutral color palette which offers me endless ways to mix things up. Although the pieces above look basic, they each have details that make them special to be styled together in endless ways. Some of these items have just gone on sale, so now is a good time to snatch them up…
Clockwise from top left:
THE ROW white blazer…an updated silhouette with a tailored, shrunken fit and three-quarter sleeves will top everything from tank tops with jeans to slip dresses.
ISABEL MARANT black lace camisole…a little bohemian, a little feminine…day to night with pants, shorts or skirts…this top will gets lots of use.
PEARL earrings…an update to basic studs…earrings are all about tribal influences right now and the Mise en Dior pair is where it all started.
3.1 PHILIP LIM cream sleeveless sweater…when a tank top is not quite enough, the cut is fresh and the texture is gorgeous…adds a lot of style to anything.
ZEUS + DION silk pants…relaxed, slouchy trousers are the pants of choice for spring. Wear this versatile number with the hems tied or loose and drapey. The drawstring waist is a nice touch too.
SARTORE black sandal (sold out)…or anything similar. The options are endless for a heavy “comfort” sandal this season. It will instantly update any look.
Black crepe shorts…higher waisted, cuffed, a little dressier and a nice update to the street shorts we’ve seen the last few seasons.
Nude sandal…we all need a neutral sandal and this one is particularly nice with the strappy details and square toe. An essential.
CURRENT/ELLIOTT jeans…my favorite update on denim this season is a straight leg with an undone, frayed hem…cropped.
Nude clutch…tuck in a larger tote for day and carry alone at night. Easy.
MICHAEL KORS tote…I’m having a slight obsession with snakeskin these days and this tote is on my radar. I see it as a neutral to go with everything.

A nice selection:)

The blazer from The Row is gorgeous- I’d love to have a piece of theirs. They make such great basics. All good picks. Those Dior earrings are especially pretty.
I too, tend to stick to basics- so much easy to put together an outfit!
