Michael Kors has done it again. Resort 2015 was a collection of very wearable pieces mixing utilitarian khaki and luxe chic. The outerwear pieces for example, took the classic trench and reshaped it as a toss-on cape and in some cases lined with fur. They’re gorgeous. Crinkled shorts and slouchy cargo pants with a heavy lug soled sandal were softened with feminine peasant or chiffon tie-neck blouses. There was a Baja style sweater in cream worn with a floor length gauze skirt that felt like it was designed with California girls in mind. I can’t get my mind off the last sateen cape/jacket with the fur lining…beautiful.
