Nicolas Ghesquiere continued to impress with the direction he’s taking Louis Vuitton. The SS’15 collection did not steer too far from Fall ’14 with a relaxed 70’s feel. A-line silhouettes – both structured and flouncy, knee-high boots, high-waisted denim and cropped flares are what you need to know. The pieces were all about the intricate details and there were a number of great looks. It is well worth watching the show here.
Meanwhile, the handbags took on a structured, sometimes ladylike identity which I think played nicely with many of the softer silhouettes. A new LV logo was introduced and I imagine the flap, chain bag (above and below) will be on many wish lists…and waiting lists!
