My favorite items in my closet are the ones I don’t have to think twice about when I want to just toss something on and be dressed…
Relaxed jeans are my go-to for comfort and wearability and the olive green in this pair by MOTHER give all the other basics a new spin.
Loving this dark red bag by LORO PIANA for its simplicity and under the radar style.
I lived in my leopard JIMMY CHOO slip-ons last year and wouldn’t mind a pair in solid black suede. They’re incredibly comfortable.
I’ll interpret the menswear trend with something soft like this DESTIN lightweight scarf. It would get tons of wear day and night.
A black trim blazer is a must for every well-stocked closet. I love the long, lean silhouette on this beautifully tailored option from JOSEPH.
And lastly, a striped tee is a forever year round basic to layer under jackets and sweaters. This lightweight option from R13 has a relaxed fit and open neckline I find appealing.

Ordinarily I dislike red and black together but your addition of the earth-toned jeans was inspired! Somehow it shifted the whole palette to something very fresh. I think it helps too that that bag is a more muted red rather than fire engine.
Really getting into blazers of late, they aren’t something I’d been wearing much over the last few years. But after seeing photo after photo of Emmanuelle Alt, I realized that they have the ability to instantly raise jeans and a tee to “outfit” status. That and a pair of trim slip-ons like you show here and the whole thing becomes very pulled together in that effortless way we all crave.
Haven’t ever commented before but I enjoy your posts immensely.
