This week’s Items Worth Considering center around adding warmer colors to the mix, mostly in classic fall tones. We may never get coat weather this year in California, so this lighter, short wrap jacket from MAX MARA might be just the ticket for my camel coat fix. And with temperatures still quite warm, I’ll be running around in loose jeans and sandals. Felt ups the ante making this MARNI pair perfect for fall. Any sleeveless top will do as a layering piece, but this MICHAEL KORS knit has a luxe look and feel even without a jacket. Adding color has been high on my priority list this fall so rather than go for the classic toned BURBERRY scarf, I’m thinking this ombre dyed version is fresh. Gold hoops, a worthwhile investment, are much more interesting with champagne diamonds set in pink gold. Love these from ILEANA MAKRI. And this deep wine structured hobo is perfection…the color, the shape and the simplicity…from CÉLINE.

Rub it in, why don’t you? Here in the northeast we’ve already had to crack out the down coats and fur-lined boots! Nonetheless, an impeccably chosen outfit, as always. Put sleeves on the sweater, lengthen the jacket to a coat (or not) and switch open toe for boots and it still works, don’t you think?

Believe me…I am dying for a change in weather. Down coats and fur-lined boots sound delightful! Wishful thinking…

part of my comment didn’t post – i was referring to your saying that you are running around in sandals!
