For this week’s Items Worth Considering, my focus is on super comfortable run around clothes in prep for the holidays. I’ll have plenty of outfits like this as the pace starts to pick up with shopping for gifts, food and decor for the house.
Starting with the basics, I’ll reach for a pair of loose jeans like these from CURRENT/ELLIOTT. The denim is super soft and a great base for layering warmer pieces, such as this OTTE sweater, in my favorite color of the season, olive green.
The earthy colors in this LORO PIANA cashmere scarf are gorgeous and would pull together so many things I already own. LOVE.
I find a cross body bag indispensable and I’ve invested in quite a few over the years as my go-to bag when I’m juggling a lot of errands. The light grey BOTTEGA VENETA is a classic in signature intrecciato napa and much less predictable than traditional black. Plus, it will wear well all through spring. It’s actually a great year-round bag.
A down puffer vest is another one of my indispensable pieces. I love how a vest keeps me warm but not too hot and allows a lot of freedom of movement. It finishes an outfit nicely too when you don’t want the bulk of a coat. The high funnel neck of this MONCLER looks cozy and the brown/green color is an unusual and appealing neutral.
I could easily wear this outfit with sneakers or loafers and they would look great, but these leopard calf hair moccasins from ISABEL MARANT are a stylish tweak. I can see slipping these on just hanging around the house too. Of course, if it’s colder, short boots will do the trick too.
