One of my goals this week is to catch up on reading websites and magazines that slipped away from me during the hectic pace of December. I bookmarked this editorial in LONNY featuring Camille Belle photographed at Palihouse in Santa Monica because it looked beautifully styled and I wanted to learn more about the hotel.
Belle has always stood out to me as someone who exudes a sense of classic elegance amidst the sea of young Hollywood starlets. Her fashion choices are considered and thoughtful with a hint of old world glamour. Those qualities marry perfectly with the uniqueness of Palihouse, a 1920’s-era Mediterranean Revival style boutique hotel situated in a quiet neighborhood in Santa Monica. Continuously operating since 1927, the property remains meticulously maintained inside and out due to the owner’s careful, considerate attention to detail.

Malibu tiles adorn the steps into the lobby.
In the lobby, windows feature blown glass and wrought iron detailing original to the 1927 building.
Intricately carved woodwork previously served as the front desk and is now the bar.

Designated a historic landmark in 2001, the building and courtyard have been meticulously maintained.
