A few years back, I discovered Brooke Giannetti’s lovely blog Velvet and Linen. I became an instant fan and was mesmerized by her posts on the process of building her dream home, Patina Farm. Inspirational photos and sketches by her architect husband, Steve, were interspersed with photographs of the property before the foundation was laid. It was one of the more fascinating reads for me to watch their thoughts and ideas come to fruition.
To see the finished project in VERANDA Magazine is a treat and the completion turned out better than I could have imagined. It’s an amazing piece of property in Ojai, California that is personal, unique and stunning…donkeys and all. Below are the pictures from the editorial, but I highly recommend you take a look at the Giannetti’s blog as they continue to develop the property, and specifically set some time aside to read the category titled Building Patina Farm.
