This VOGUE US March 2015 editorial styled by Grace Coddington is just beautiful. I hate to post two editorials back to back from the same magazine but this was just too good to not share. Photographed by Peter Lindbergh, the models are gorgeous in white lace dresses occasionally layered over black tights and boots in a striking dessert setting. This just adds fuel to my current obsession with finding a great white lace dress this spring.

Nice to see so many beautiful models without resorting to “tribal” references. The styling reminds me of past influences – boater hats, white dresses with black stockings (1910’s school girls?) but oh, so modern.

I too am obsessed with finding a great white dress to take to Paris. Unfortunately, everything I am coming across is either A. way too short B. way to grandma doily-like C. obscenely expensive. I have yet to see one that is just right, no matter the price. Let us know what you find!

Those are my same problems. I have tried several too and returned them all. I’ll post on a good find if I come across it. Meanwhile the search continues…

Actually, Hermes showed the perfect one in their SS15 collection but I cant find it for sale anywhere and it will undoubtedly be out of my price range. But it is perfection. Love the sleeve detail.
