Everyone has an opinion on what sexy dressing looks like and for Fall 2015, Victoria Beckham built her collection around just that. Mind you, it’s her version, which translates to sophisticated and form fitting – but covered up – in luxe fabrics with a minimal aesthetic. Elegantly deep necklines, gently nipped in waists, cascading and fluid hemlines are the hallmarks of her “new translation of the dress – something fresher and sexier”. Using slits and cutouts to bare a hint of skin and draping fabric on the bias reveals enough of the body and is how Beckham says her own dressing has evolved. As one customer observed, “It’s how a well-dressed woman wants to dress. This is sexy to her.” Coats and knits were mixed in beautifully too, but the dresses and separates shown here are the ones that made me pause.

Being a “mean girl”, I really don’t want to like VB but this collection looks fabulous – and surprisingly the line goes up to size 12 – brava posh!

She is my favorite (and probably only) celebrity designer. Her line always seems focused.
