Circling back to some of the items I posted about this season. A thin, delicate ankle wrap flat, either sandal or closed toe, was one of my favorite styles. I got lucky and pre-ordered both the Michael Kors Kallie and the Bottega Veneta Micro Intrecciato not knowing if they would ever ship or how they would fit.
The Kallie ballet is very comfortable with a feminine and flattering cut. Super simple with micro straps and a thin slip of a heel, I’ll wear it for years to come with skirts, dresses cropped pants and jeans.
The pale color of the Bottega Veneta thong is even prettier in person, a soft blush, that will fill in as my go-to neutral. The pared down simplicity is enhanced by the impeccable attention to detail with sewn finished tabs at the end of the laces and a stitched detail surrounding the footbed. They are both keepers.

Oh you are a tease! Ever since you mentioned the Kallie a few months ago I’ve been on the (fruitless) hunt. Well done you for scoring with both! Off to think what I’ve done in a previous life to deserve this…
