I feel compelled to snatch up my favorite accessories from Frida Giannini’s final SS15 collection for Gucci. Some of the shoes and bags were incredibly directional and like previous collections set the tone for the season. I was sad to read about her departure from Gucci. I thought she had a pulse on what woman want to wear, at least women like me, and mastered the casual luxe look perfectly. I never paid much attention to the well-loved and successful collections Tom Ford created when he designed for Gucci, although he is credited for turning the company around, simply because his overtly sexy aesthetic wasn’t my style. And now, going forward, based on the Fall 2015 collection by Alessandro Michele, Gucci has taken a sharp turn again in a new direction with an eclectic look that initially has me stumped.

The tan suede Lady Web bag was on my wish list but sadly I cannot find it anyway to buy now. Just last week I saw one of my friends carrying this – I could barely talk to her:)

You’re not the only one obsessed! It’s a beautiful, classic bag. Did you know it comes with two straps? The iconic red/green nylon (20″) and a leather one (16″). And just this morning I did see it on the Neiman Marcus website
