This month is the two year anniversary of A Note on Style. Taking a break from posting this week allowed me to reflect on the blog and its success. I started A Note on Style as a way to share my observations and opinion on fashion, style, and interiors. I wanted to edit all the clutter I saw in magazines and online to present a vision of what I found most appealing. I hoped to reach an audience who appreciated the same curated perspective. I also craved the challenge to learn something new involving technology. A blog satisfied all these needs. I enrolled in a photoshop class and got comfortable with Word Press.
Two years later, I’m blown away to have reached people from all over the world. I have subscribers from 13 countries, which is unbelievable to me. Occasionally, people ask me what I get in return from the blog. Frankly, it’s about connecting with my readers. I get excited when someone comments either directly on a post or through my contact email. That’s what keeps me satisfied and motivated.
So, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for reading, commenting and sharing. I appreciate your support and look forward to the future of A Note on Style.
