My weekend round-up of inspiring Instagram images.
Clockwise from top left:
This week, the color red kept popping up on my feed and I’m suddenly obsessed. Sometimes it was bold while other times it was a subtle but impactful statement such as Charlotte Casiraghi’s perfectly painted pout at Gucci. Wearing a dress from the SS16 collection with a charming lady bug brooch, her whole look was stunning and one of my favorites of the week. | @gucci
After seeing tons of denim at the New York and London shows, it’s been refreshing to see outfits more dressed up and sophisticated in Milan. There were plenty of coordinated, polished looks with skirts and dresses taking center stage…more red lips too. | @nytimesfashion
The painted botanicals and scenery on Gucci’s canvas logo bags and clothing were artsy with a hint of upscale vintage. I imagine these will be on everyone’s wish list come spring. The eclectic collection continued with many of the themes from previous collections as Michele Alessandro’s following and influence continue to grow. | @gucci
Wanted to share two of my favorite blogs I’ve followed for years, La Dolce Vita and Mark D. Sikes. If you’re not familiar, take a look. They’re both consistently enjoyable reads and great sources for inspiring interiors, fashion and style. Paloma Contreras of La Dolce Vita and Mark D. Sikes are pictured together here for a presentation of his quite stylish collection, MDS Stripes at à bientôt in Houston. | @ladolcevitablog
This red dress at Etro is vibrant, sophisticated and everything an elegant dress should be. So many SS16 dresses from designers across the board were cinched at the waist with belts or ties containing the volume and flow. I’m loving all the feminine touches of pleats, chiffons, and prints right now. | @sarahrutson
After I posted on Another Topper, a reader kindly shared the source, Laura Fantacci and her blog. She’s a stylist and puts together looks from a range of price points that are chic and wearable. She also writes a weekly magazine-style update called Wardrobe Icons. I love being introduced to other blogs. There are so many great ones to read, it’s nice to have them referred. I’m a new follower and suggest you check it out too.! | @witblog
