A few years ago, you would have never caught me sporting a pair of elastic waist pants. But fashion is funny that way, and now that slouchy, relaxed style has made it into my wardrobe and become a go-to favorite. I started last year by introducing a silk navy pinstripe from Theory and have since added a pair in black crepe. They’re surprisingly flattering and as you would expect, super comfortable. They add a freshness and modern look when mixed with most of my closet staples…sweaters, tees, blazers. Incidentally, they easily make the cut in my highly edited carry-on when traveling. They roll up compactly and any wrinkles hang out almost instantly.

I really enjoy your blog. Our tastes are very similar, but you provide the ideas/inspiration I need at times to amp things up a bit in my wardrobe. Your blog and Keep It Chic are my two daily go-to’s…

Thank you very much! That’s so kind of you to take the time to comment. I’m glad you’re enjoying and I love Keep It Chic too!

I just bought 4 pairs of the Theory pants you’ve written about. They’re the only pants I’ve bought in years, other than jeans. Love them.

They’re really good. I just added a pair in grey flannel to my closet!
