I know I’ve said I wear my white jeans year round, but I’m officially giving them a rest for now. Why? Simply because it’s one of the few ways I can truly feel like I’ve transitioned to a fall wardrobe. I don’t want to complain about the amazing weather we have, but come fall, I’m dying to wear all the beautiful fall looks I’ve been putting together in my head and on the blog. The best way to head in that direction, with the weather still warm, is by changing my color palette. I’m moving the white jeans to the back of the closet, allowing khaki, black and dark denim to take center stage. I’ll mix them with dark blouses, solids and prints, and some of the lightweight sleeveless knits I’ve collected for exactly this weather.

Don’t like to complain about the weather here, but another heat wave? I’ve been wearing baggy blue jeans and a white or gray tee everyday. I may go on strike and wear nothing.

It’s definitely wearing on me…
