I like moto jackets…on other people. Whenever I’ve tried them, I feel like I’m wearing a costume. But I love the look of sleek, supple leather when it’s done in a simple way, like the shirt jacket above on stylist Alexandra Carl. The clean lines and absence of hardware make it all the more appealing. And I love how its styled in this photo paired back to the classics – perfectly faded denim and a tee – then popped with a bright red J.W. Anderson bag.

Yes please – I’ve been searching for a leather shirt for the longest time!

My sentiments exactly on moto jackets. Any I have ever tried on just make me feel like I am trying too hard. Now, the jacket pictured is perfection! If I could find that exact jacket, I would be ecstatic.

You’re so right, I have a motorcycle jacket and every time I wear it, I feel so silly…I love the shirt-jacket!!

I started wearing moto leather jackets more than 30 years ago, vintage etc. I guess that’s why at this age I don’t feel silly, they feel very much me. But, I do love this jacket so much and wish someone could identify it. It’s more than a shirt, it has more weight to it. Perfect.

you’re exactly the type of person I love seeing in moto jackets…authentic and as you say, feels very much you!
