My son traveled abroad for five months earlier this year and lived in San Francisco this summer. Along his adventures, he started collecting small pieces of art, posters and basically memorabilia from his trips…all unframed for ease of carrying home. We talked about creating a gallery wall with his collection when he returned.
I was browsing Instagram a few weeks ago and came upon designer Becki Owens stream that had a gallery wall by Framebridge. It was all white, simple, modern and clean. After checking out the Framebridge site, and seeing their selection and pricing, I knew this was a good place to start the gallery. He has 16 pieces, both large and small, and asked if I would be interested in pulling it together.
I have access to framing for Interior Designers, but using Framebridge for this project made sense and was so easy. I didn’t have to make an appointment to lug all the art in and the turn around time was 7-10 days. I got on it that night and put together a design using black, white and natural wood working with a couple of modern profiles that won’t look dated down the road. The whole process was incredibly smooth. They emailed me a free shipping label that night to send them the artwork the next day. I also uploaded one photo from his trip that Framebridge will print and frame. I had the project completed in one evening at home.
I’ve received just about everything over the last couple of days and I’m super impressed with the quality of the framing and the careful packaging of each individual piece. I can’t wait to see the whole project hanging on his wall!
