A few of my favorite pieces this week are coincidentally centered around a similar color palette. I love all of these items for their subtle twist on the classics with an artisan’s touch. Barely there frayed-edged pockets, natural rope-tie tassels, and intricately woven leather add a uniqueness that makes them interesting and covetable.
CVC Stones pendant: I’ve always had a thing for a high/low mix in jewelery and have had my eye on these CVC Stones pendants since I first saw them. The contrast of an organic, smooth beach stone set with perfectly placed diamonds is simply gorgeous. Wish list.
3.1 Philip Lim jacket: I ‘ve been looking for a striped blazer to wear casually but so many of them fell into a too serious, geared for work, category. When I saw this unlined, canvas piece from 3.1 Philip Lim, I knew it was a contender. Love the length, the textured weave, the frayed pockets and most of all the fabric. I hope it has a good fit.
Sonia Rykiel bag: How pretty is this bag? The open weave of the leather is so tidy and precise creating a beautiful geometric pattern which contrasts nicely with the tightly woven handle. The colors make a striking combination too.
Rupert Sanderson shoes: I love the playfulness of the rope tasselled bows on these casual skimmers from Rupert Sanderson. Perfect little heels and a nicely pointed toe on textured, coated linen are fresh, fun and interesting.
