Lately, I’ve been putting a lot more thought into items I consider adding to my wardrobe. I’m covered with the basics but, of course, want to add something fresh to those pieces. I’m having difficulty this season, more than ever, finding things I really love. I usually narrow in on a trend I consider interpreting for my look, but this season, they’re just not speaking to me. That’s why clean and simple always wins. These pieces would all be welcome additions to my closet with tons of versatility to boot. Totême’s navy, knit dress could be worn as is, or layered over a shirt, a turtleneck (in the winter), or even slacks. The long dress over pants silhouette was a major look in the Fall 16 collections that I liked. Pendants are appearing more and more in current editorials and I haven’t seen one I don’t like. They add a unique, vintage, handed-down, touch to everyday denim, dresses and knits. Price points are all over and it really doesn’t matter what it costs, as long as you love it. The Row’s sling, in this beautiful nude shade, doesn’t need much introduction. It’s elegant and chic with a bit of boho via ombre horse hair-tail tassels for fun. A simple flat thong will go everywear and with everything. Easily worn day to evening with jeans or shorts and on to dresses, Roger Vivier‘s sleek mini buckle thong is a winner.

I spotted that dress this a.m. and it is on my Wishlist. I LOVE the bag and it has been on my Wishlist since it came out – I can’t believe I haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet… Everything on this post is lovely.
