I have my eye on a few good pieces that would add some interest to the essentials I wear often. What makes these items unique and a step away from being too classic, are the details. An unfinished, released hem on jeans is very of the moment, but taking it one step further with a high/low cut is J Brand’s great fitting Selena jean. With a kick flare, in black, it’s a key silhouette to add to a well-rounded denim wardrobe. My striped tees need an update this season and A.P.C.’s lightweight jersey offers the perfect solution. The cut and perforated fabric elevate the forever summer staple. The workmanship and design on Chloe‘s Hudson bag keeps grabbing my attention. The whipstitching, tassel, and studs, all in a blue suede that resembles well-worn denim, make this one of my favorite bags from Chloé this season. I haven’t bought into Fendi‘s monster eye motif, until now. The colors and mix of textures on this super chic, flat sandal are unique, interesting and would work well right into a fall palette. And lastly, a not so basic navy blazer. With a pointed front and a clean, collarless cut, Theory‘s blazer is an easy, not too serious, layering piece that can be dressed up or down.
