Of all the looks I’ve seen so far from NYFW and LFW, the ones I’m most inspired by relate to variations on khaki. Yesterday, I wrote about khaki wrap skirts and today I’m sharing some of the best outfits where the most basic utilitarian colors takes center stage. It’s one of my favorite colors and I love the way it’s being mixed tonally and with a bit of utilitarian details. My Helmut Lang cargos from spring will be in full rotation and I’ll be looking to add more pieces…like the loose trousers above, a wrap skirt, and maybe a shirt dress.
As far as pants, I like styles from Dries Van Noten, Tibi, and Veronica Beard. The ruffled skirt from Céline and cargo styles from 3.1 Philip Lim, Tibi and Frame Denim are all good too. All are in the Pinterest Shop.
