I’m already a little overloaded with the sales and they’ve just begun. I bought a few things and hope they work out when they arrive. Meanwhile, I’m browsing the new arrivals, not necessarily for resort looks, but just to see some fresh things. These items are what caught my eye.
I’ve admired the workmanship and brilliant use of color on Larkspur & Hawk jewelry for years. These earring are more subdued than many of their pieces, and I like the simplicity of an oversized stud, not to mention the mix of rose gold and gray.
I’m always looking for the perfect scent that mimics a wood burning fire. The incense from Juniper Ridge is great, but I would still like to find the scent in a candle. I’m intrigued by the name and description of D.S. & Durga’s Portable Fireplace.
How pretty is this Marni bucket bag? In a rich shade of brown calf hair with gold accents, it would complement neutrals, black or white equally well.
Metallic shoes can be tricky. I have a couple of silver shoes and find they’re so easy to wear. Many times they simply complete an ordinary outfit. I’ve looked at and passed on gold for various reasons, too shiny or not quite the right shade. I think Valentino’s flat studded sole is a beauty. The pale gold is flattering and grounded with a stacked wood sole.
