I don’t know if there’s a shade of green I don’t like. I find beauty even in the dullest, murkiest shades. It’s easy to add a touch to an outfit for a pop of unexpected freshness – like Les Bonbons ball earrings or Tom Ford’s velvet tie. And around the house, the vibrant glow from emerald can simply take a room from dull to wow. I’ve gathered a few of my current favorites, some of which would make lovely gifts. Mark D. Sikes Beautiful: All-American Decorating and Timeless Style is one I’ve already gifted and personally enjoyed myself. It’s one of those purchases where you buy one for a friend and can’t resist one for yourself. Hermès hand soap or plaid linen coasters are lovely little luxuries to bestow on a friend as well. And speaking of gifts, I’d like to wrap them with tightly woven cotton or velvet ribbon this season. That would be a pretty touch.
