The one item in my closet, aside from jeans, I have in multiples is a white shirt. Of course, I have a couple of classic button downs, but the ones that get me excited have something special…an exaggerated shape, a detailed sleeve, or an unusual collar. For years, I wore them untucked, usually over a slim silhouetted bottom, but with higher waistlines the norm now, I’m enjoying my shirts tucked in.
I love the shirts from various designers I’ve collected over the years but recently have been snapping up pieces from COS stores. I like the hand of the poplin they use and their silhouettes usually have something interesting going on at a ridiculously good price point. The only caveat with COS is the sizing. It’s all over the place. Even when I think I’ve found my true COS size, I order something and it’s either too tight or too big. But when you find a winner, it’s a good one.

Love the shoes. Do you know who makes them? Also, trying to decide between Frames deep navy blue velvet pants and black. What do you think?

Hi Amie…I’m not sure who makes those exact shoes but they remind me of ones I’ve seen from Chloe and Stella McCartney. As far as pants, I would go for the navy. The color is more unique and I think easier to dress down if desired.
