The last few months, I’ve noticed my go-to sheer, nude polish that I’ve worn on my nails for years wasn’t looking right. The pale sheer pink started to look more peachy – meaning a yellow undertone – and it wasn’t working for my skin tone. I looked for a new shade in the line I was loyal to but none were right. Getting that perfect, pale nude shade that still looks natural is not easy. What looks amazing on one person doesn’t necessarily translate to another.
After doing a little research on other brands that fall into the “five free” category, I decided to give Nails Inc Nailkale products a try. They did not disappoint. Certainly, the flawless finish and ease of application with a wide, flat brush were both pluses, but I was ultimately sold on its staying power. I’ve had the polish on since last Monday…that’s 11 days now! Not one chip and the shine is still going strong. The only reason I want to re-polish is because I can see the growth line at my nail base.
I used the Nailkale Superfood Base Coat, Mayfair Lane (similar) on my hands and Hampstead Grove (similar) on my toes and the 45 Second Top Coat with Kensington Caviar. Both polish colors are classic and are my new everyday favorites.
And for anyone who has damaged nails from gel manicures, I’ve read all good reviews on the Back to Life Recovery Treatment & Base Coat which nurtures and renews nails in just a few weeks. It’s definitely worth a try.
