WWD did a great write-up on GeeG, my friend Gina de Givenchy’s new line of head coverings specifically designed for people facing hairloss due to an illness. What started as a need for Gina, who battled breast cancer in 2013, turned into a passion project. She quickly realized there were few, if any, options for people like her looking for beautifully made, chic items to wear while dealing with hairloss. GeeG intends to “blur the line between person and patient” offering luxury headwraps, scarves, turbans, and beanies, so that a patient could look stylish and feel better about their appearance. This is just the beginning, too. Seeing a void in the market, GeeG intends on expanding the line to include other accessories, clothing, and skincare, essentially establishing itself as a lifestyle brand for cancer patients because “a diagnosis doesn’t change personal style or fashion sense”.

What a great project and I love all her head wraps.

I love the very center photo because of her kind face. Do you realize how rare it is these days to see kindness in someone’s face?
