I just added the above photo to a file I have saved on denim. It follows the theme of what looks good to me now in the world of jeans. Mid to high-rise is the game changer with the leg silhouette being whatever personally looks best. I happen to like both a slim and full leg. Although I don’t think a belt is required, in some cases it polishes off the look nicely.
This updated style in denim has been brewing for a while, but I believe it has really stuck this season. I have a few pair that have been in rotation more than ever lately, and although it took me a few rounds to get comfortable with the higher waist and a tucked in shirt, I now prefer it. My old jeans suddenly feel odd on my body. As I continue to hone in on my favorites and how to wear them, this post will surely be an ongoing story.

I agree and also, any denim with stretch feels so wrong when I put it on.

Do you know who makes the sandals?

Top picture? Celine.
Ines
Are the jeans also Celine?

Ines…I’m pretty sure those are Vetements. There are similar styles from Helmut Lang, Balmain, Stella McCartney. Click on each designer name to be taken to their relative sites…
