After posting the below photo on Instagram yesterday, I was compelled to dig around and find more images of Nadège du Bospertus from that time, 1990. I found these editorials and remember them like they were yesterday. I can’t get over the timelessness of the styling. I mean, look at the pant above? Athleisure, circa 1990. The jewelry throughout is so good too. I’ve been feeling the return of bold hoops and rings lately and they are fantastic right here.
Everything is spot on in this fab styled image. Of course, I’ll take head-to-toe white any day, but this is especially good with the high waist jeans, the sterling statement jewelry and a nod to western style with the belt. I know I had a good one, but it is surely long gone.
Again, the gorgeous jewelry, (Robert Lee Morris, Lisa Jenks), head to toe white and western elements. If I embrace cowboy boots, I’ll cheat and just wear booties like these. Way more comfortable. This is part of an editorial introducing Ralph Lauren Country…remember that?
More athleisure with a hoodie under a very of the moment tweed. And those rings!!!
White sneakers, zippered sweatshirt…”le chic sportif” from Agnès B. and A.P.C. …so good.
A faux fur story from September Vogue 1990…the whole look is chic.
The shoulder pads I’ll pass on this time, but I’d wear everything else here! Ankle skimming Taverniti pants, yes please!
If this is the direction of the return of 90s fashion, then I’m on board.
Incidentally, model Nadège du Bospertus looks just as stunning today.

Oh goodness! Nadege! I used to have her photos tucked in my purse to show the stylist when I would get my hair cut. Thank you for the memory.
