I don’t think I own one item of pink in my closet, but that may soon change. The range of pinks that fall in the dusty rose-mauve category are looking pretty to me in a sophisticated, not sweet, way. I think texture has a lot to do with how the color is interpreted too. Corduroy, velvet, nubby mohair – all do the color wonders. Celine did a dusty rose corduroy pant I can’t get my mind off of ever since I saw Ramya Giangola pair them with a Rosie Assoulin wrap top. Love that combination and will use it as inspiration to wear pink in small doses contrasting with menswear plaids.
The oversized Joseph sweater in the top photo from The Edit magazine will be available at Net-a-Porter.

Love this colour. Hard to find clothing offered in this shade (often sold out when found! ). Pleased to see more choices offered this season. Looks fab with soft greys as well as olive/dark greens. Thank you for such an inspirational post.

I bought a rosy sweater and a rosy flannel shirt – both Jenni Kayne. It’s such a flattering color and works well with neutrals.

I’ll have to look at those pieces from Jenni Kayne. I’m sure they are right up my alley.

I started on this last Fall so have a bit of a head start. I’m tall, blond, blue-eyed so this shade is great for me. Shoes seem to be the only problem, so I’m so happy to see your suggestions. Great post !!!
Karima
It’s such a great shade for blondes or brunettes!
