Photos of Villa Albergoni, the home and set for Luca Guadagnoino’s film Call Me by Your Name, have been circulating magazines, Instagram and blogs the last few weeks. With my love for all things Italian, I couldn’t resist collecting and sharing some of the images from various sites to take a closer look at the details inside the beautiful 17th century mansion in Moscazzano.
Once the villa was scouted and secured for the film, set decorator Violante Visconti di Modrone, had just three weeks to source and complete the decor. I am beyond impressed with her ability to not only do this in such a short time period, but also to essentially transform an empty villa into a warm home with a lived-in for generations authenticity.
The full story on the design process with details of the rooms from paint to furniture can be read on The Spaces.

Like all his movies, the home is just magnificent. So looking forward to seeing it, hopefully this weekend.
