The Gucci Ophedia bag, with a vintage nod to the seventies style I remember growing up, is one of my favorites of the season. It is much simpler than many of the Gucci products produced right now and has a humble familiarity. Sometimes, just the slightest tweak to a familiar classic is enough to give it fresh appeal and make it a newly covetable item. I like how the iconic Burberry plaid translates when reinterpreted in a gray/black combination, especially in a bold oversized coat. A bonus…it reverses to solid black. And, pearls look modern and cool when treated with a unique design element. Mizuki continues to find fresh ways to add a subtle edge to a classic design, like in this open-banded, simple ring.
