Valentino’s iconic rockstud looks fresh to me in white studs, adding a sporty vibe placed against the bright colors introduced in the Resort 18 collection.
I always take a second look at shoes from Valentino. They have been consistently comfortable for me and are well made. The flat, ankle strap ballerina was a life saver for me when I suffered from Morton’s Neuroma a few years back. It was one of the few shoes I could wear to dress up an outfit and still feel stylish. The current ballerina version in both navy and red suede look great to me.
Even though I’m personally tired of some of the repeated styles, the staying power of the rockstud pieces after all these years makes me wonder if it’s here to stay as Valentino’s signature element as it continues fresh reinvention season after season. Preston Davis from Keep it Chic ran a post earlier this year on its comeback, highlighting another classic, the flat sandal in navy. I also like it in khaki.

I think the white studs look great too.

I love reading and look forward to your posts. Always excellent taste. I’m asking your opinion – what color would you buy in the Chloe Marcie Satchel?

Thank you! Personally, I like the burgundy, navy and tan the best.

I still love my rockstud pumps (the small heel version). As a matter of fact, I will be wearing them tonight. They still bring compliments. Jewelry for the feet!

I still receive tons of compliments on mine too!
