When I travel, I like to bring a few comforts from home with me. Aside from favorite sleepwear, I usually pack something soft to lounge in as well. I always bring my own slippers and have a pair reserved just for travel that lie flat and take up little space in a suitcase. An eye mask is a must if you’re like me and need complete darkness to sleep and if space allows, I’ll toss in a lightweight throw, in case a hotel room is too chilly. If I’m flying, this will sit at the bottom of my tote freeing up space in my carry-on. Hard water in hotels leaves my skin beyond parched and even some of the best body lotions provided aren’t moisturizing enough for me, so I’ll bring some type of nourishing oil. I add a few drops to boost the hotel lotion, then use it to tame fly aways, soften cuticles and pat on my skin after make-up to add a refreshed glow.
