This is the boot I was searching for last year, but could never find. There were plenty of chunky heeled boots, but I wanted was a tall, shaft that was fitted. Aquazzura’s St. Honoré bootie hits all the right marks. The slim design will look great under a straight leg or cropped jean and complements the feminine elements of a skirt or dress. Winner.

Wow……. love those…..
Joanna
They are really stylish boots and so versatile. But I wish you had given us a less expensive option. At almost $800, they are certainly out of my price range.

Joanna – I’d been looking for a boot with the specific details mentioned in the post. Aquazurra met all of those elements and is a brand I love for their quality, craftsmanship, style and wearability. There are plenty of block heel booties available but either the heel is too high, or the shaft is too wide or short. An alternative at a lower price close to this style would be this boot from Vince in a stretch knit.

Lovely! Which color are you eyeing ?
Karima
Susan…I like the cognac color, but they’re sold out in my size. The khaki/moss is also very good and would act as a perfect neutral with the palette in my closet. If I didn’t already own several black boots, this is where I would make the investment. I think they’re forever boots.

I love the khaki/moss color. I own a few pairs of cognac boots, which is always what I’m drawn to for shoes and bags, but for some reason in boots, the cognac is always too much of a “jolt”? These are forever boots.
Karima
I know what you mean about the jolt of color. It can be tricky, but when it works, it looks so good.

Karima. Do you think the Chloe Lexi boot still looks current for the upcoming season?
Karima
Liz – I do. I’ll definitely wear mine. It has a similar tall shaft like this boot too.

If you do get the boots, please report back!

At the beginning of last fall, I purchased a pair of crocodile-imbossed Altuzarra boots. I have a very high arch and always struggle with ankle boots. Loved the way these looked, but not the price tag. Nevertheless, they fit like a dream, are very well-made and have worn them like crazy. They’ll get me through this year and into next for sure. Completely worth the investment.
