Francesco Fucci’s sophisticated vision for Theory is a breath of fresh air. I’m looking at the pieces as covetable, individual items that would help build a minimalist dream wardrobe. Fucci’s experience at The Row has left a mark on the direction he intends to take Theory, and I’m on board. The color palette carries a hint of vintage, but with a modern voice. Less corporate and more relaxed luxe, Theory looks good. The bags and shoes are sure to be hits too.

Every piece looks amazing! I love The Row so it’s exciting that a similar aesthetic will be available at a lower price point.
Karima. Wanted to ask your expert style opinion: The Row’s Granpa mule or the Hermes Roxanne mule? Both in black suede. I’ve got the granpa mule on pre order but the Hermes has recently caught my eye

Hi Liz. Agree about the aesthetic at a lower price point. I just hope the shipped product resembles and fits like the runway pieces. I am often disappointed when a designer makes changes to the final product to appeal to a larger market – shorter lengths, less volume, etc.
In regard to the two mules, I think they are completely different so I’d like to know how you are planning on wearing them. And if I’m correct, the Hermes Roxanne has a contrast H? Is there one in solid black that I’m missing? A little dressier, but still wearable with jeans is the beautiful Rex Mule/Loafer.

The Hermes is available in black with a black lizard H trim.
Planning on wearing the mules with jeans and midi type dresses. Thank you!

I’ve been a Theory woman for several years. Love the aesthetics of the Row but can’t afford it, so I’m excited to see Theory’s new direction. I am very disappointed to see the long, cream coat isn’t lined. You can see darker colors through it, so those items would be a no for me. Brenda
