It’s time to update the white tees in my closet. I’m on the hunt for a classic style with a higher neck in a substantial cotton like above. I’ve bought on repeat for several years the relaxed, washed and worn look but feel like it’s time to move on. Granted, I’ll continue to wear those with jeans and shorts, but I want something heftier and more structured to layer under blazers that provides a more balanced look.
The Hanes X Karla collection has a few styles in the direction I’m headed as well as this classic set from Acne Studios, this Boy Tee from AG, and perhaps this perfect option from Victoria, Victoria Beckham. I also have a few friends who swear by the well-priced Hanes Luxe Collection.

I have one from COS that I bought a couple of years ago that is just what you describe. Not sure if they would have a short sleeve at this time of year though.

COS is a good idea. Their fit is a hit or miss with me, but their styling is good. I’ll pop in the store and see if they have anything.

The Rag and Bone short sleeve ones are great….. for a well priced one check out Uniqlo…..

Forgot about Uniglo… yes, those should be good.

I get a white L L Bean tee every year. The navy is good too. Black isnt black enough.

I have found that my favorite T-shirt’s have spandex, or elastin, Lycra mixed in with the cotton
KSL
James Perse has a new thicker white tee that holds it’s shape well.

I’ll take a look. Thanks.

Uniglo, H & M and COS. Expensive t shirts don’t make sense. They have a limited life span regardless of cost – mid price last Just as long

You have read my mind, esp. after your earlier post re: Sarah Harris. I have tried in earnest to find out her choice in white tees, but if I had to guess, they almost look like basic Hanes.

Vince has some beautiful Pima cotton tees. I haven’t checked out their white tee, but I did stock get a black, gray, and olive. I’ve a couple of Pima cotton tees from Everlane that are nice too.
