I don’t steer far off course from beloved classics, but I do like pieces that offer something new. It may be as simple as a color and right now, pale gray feels like a fresh hue. But beyond the calming palette, the items here have a unique defining element that make them special. The 3.1 Philip Lim blazer sporting a faint plaid elevates with darts highlighting a nipped-in waist. Very Balenciaga, at a much friendlier price point. And, while optic white accessories are certainly of the moment, I’m leaning more towards shades that have a hint of gray or taupe. They’re sophisticated and a bit easier on the eyes.
Coincidentally, today’s Instagram post of a beautiful room by Horsch Interiors shares a color palette that is very much in the same mood. They are a must follow account for any design enthusiast passionate about antiques and sophisticated interiors.
