Part of prepping for Thanksgiving includes taking stock on serving pieces and kitchen inventory. Creating a warm, welcome setting is far more enjoyable to me than cooking, so I have a variety of table setting options and like to mix it up a little every year. The decor usually goes back to white as a base and this year I’ll introduce natural wood tones. The natural rustic element paired with white porcelain and linens looks beautiful to me.
It’s also a good time to gather a few hostess gifts. A fragrant hand soap, jar of tupelo honey or a set of tapered candles would please almost anyone.
Funny, after I put this mood board together, I realized how much the colors are similar to the fall clothing story I created at the beginning of fall.
