With the holidays behind us, festive dressing has been shelved to the back of my mind. As much as I love wearing all black, it feels timely to give it a rest. Even though there isn’t a change of season this month, the beginning of a new year stirs a craving for a fresh, lighter palette.
It was love at first sight with this off-white leather jacket from Solace London. Smart, modern and classic, it’s the type of piece that adds a punctuation mark to any outfit. I see it transitioning easily through all seasons.
I’m always going between a large tote and crossbody bag for day looks. The Row’s pebbled leather shoulder bag would inject a modern edge to many looks. The shape, size and color are interesting and good for year round wear. The combination of slouch with structure is an unusual find.
Fall 2018 was my lucky season for boots. The variety of options with two important details – a tall narrow shaft above the ankle and a walking friendly mid-heel – were endless. This stylish, sleek, brown-cognac pair from Neous has my attention at the moment.
Lastly, cat-eye frames don’t need to be relegated only to sunglasses. How chic is this optical frame from Miu Miu? The two-tone acetate and thin metal sides are interesting elements that visually soften the classic, retro inspired frame.

I love that The Row bag! I saw it at NM in eggshell and put it on my list. It’s the perfect size for someone like me that doesn’t carry more than a few things.
