After my previous post on Clare Waight Keller’s London home, it inspired me to track down the images I’d previously saved of her Parisian apartment when she was creative director at Chloé. I recognized a few items, such as the white carved table lamp (last photo), that were carried from house to house yet displayed in a new way. The 16th arrondissement apartment shot for WSJ. Magazine, features swoon worthy grand Haussmann style rooms that act as a structured backdrop for an eclectic, elegant mix of decor. Not easy to achieve, the collected interior finds a balance between formal and effortless that appears comfortable and lived in. Nooks and tabletop vignettes are filled with special pieces, many picked up throughout the many chapters of Keller’s life, that give the home depth and personality.
