1. After three successful collaborations with Estée Lauder, Victoria Beckham is expanding her brand and plans to launch Victoria Beckham Beauty in 2019. Initailly, it will be sold exclusively direct-to-consumer on victoriabeckham.com. “I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in makeup, skin care, fragrance, and wellness that I feel I need in my own life,” said Beckham.
2. I’ve always got my eye out for new accessible art. Chicago-based artist Josh Yöung’s work has got my attention. Several themed collections, such as “Géométrique” above, and Rétrograde, make a sophisticated statement individually ($98) or as a gallery ($936). His work has appeared in Vogue Italia, GQ Italia, Domino Magazine, My Domaine, The Maryn and Apartment Therapy.
3. Hedi Slimane’s Celine AW19 collection was spot on. A complete turnaround from his controversial SS19 debut as creative director, the new Celine is reminiscent of the true, old Celine with a ’70s French Saint Germain spirit. Familiar yet fresh. Details to follow in next week’s blog post.
4. Today is the last day to take advantage of the Shopbop sale. Use code GOBIG19 for up to 25% off on essentials like trench coats , cashmere sweaters, boots and denim.
5. And, a Net-A-Porter shoe sale not to be missed wraps up the week. Get 15% off most brands, including Bottega Veneta, Prada, Gianvito Rossi, through March 10 with code SHOPSTYLE15.
