I love the gorgeous line up of made to order dresses from Julie de Libran’s new namesake collection. Sourcing archived and deadstock fabric from two of the finest mills in Europe, the collection retains an air of exclusivity due to the limited quantities available. The sophisticated silhouettes are some of the prettiest I’ve seen in a long time. Bravo to de Libran for recognizing all women don’t want to wear sleeveless. A poncho-like detail provides barely-there coverage that feels completely modern, while long sleeves look far from dowdy when paired with a thigh-high slit and plunging neckline. But, my favorite goes to the simple, understated, short sleeve black dress, above. It’s young, fresh and elegant. These are investment dresses to treasure forever.
Made-to-order and available soon on Julie de Libran and Matches Fashion.
