These five pieces will elevate and shape my fall wardrobe.
Lug-sole boots in any heel height are winners in my book. The rich caramel color on the Gianvito Rossi pair I shared the other day is even more beautiful in person. I am very picky about heel height and comfort and don’t believe in “breaking in” a shoe. It works or it doesn’t. These work. Comfortable and walkable from the start.
Pouches, buckets, drawstrings…a slouchy soft bag is on-trend this season and easy to wear. Hunting Season‘s super stylish Lola Bag checks all the boxes including price friendly. Also in brown. I don’t imagine these will stay in stock long.
If you follow me on Instagram, practically all my travel photos show me wearing a bucket hat. They are my saving grace for an unexpected drizzle or any situation when I want the sun off my face. A bucket folds into the travel messenger bag I carry and is easy to pack, which is why I bring several. This water-resistant Loeffler Randall checked twill is on its way to me now. I also like these in a tan leopard, gray leopard, red graphic print, and the classic Burberry check.
Talking about the perfect tee the other day, a reader mentioned the Prada three-pack. The quality and fit are perfect and at $250 for three are a better price than my go-to Rag & Bone ($90) ATM at $150. They also have a more polished hand which will work beautifully under blazers.
New shades can be a gamechanger. The vibe on Victoria Beckham’s Power Frame looks both retro and modern and is the shape I want now.
