In uncertain times, the desire to stay in your comfort zone should come as no surprise. That translates across the board to many areas, but I’m thinking specifically about the simple act of getting dressed. Denim has been a dominant subject in my posts the last month but aside from its focus as a SS20 trend, I think its no-nonsense familiarity resonates with how I feel right now. The ease of slipping on a pair of jeans is an effortless choice. What to pair with jeans is an open book of endless options determined by mood, weather, and activity. It’s hard to go wrong with denim anchoring an outfit but really the bottom line is jeans make me feel comfortable.
In April Vogue, models from around the world visually connect through the common thread of denim. The portfolio, edited beautifully by Camilla Nickerson, shows the fabric’s ability to blur the lines between high and low while unifying the fundamentals of good styling.

Loving the denim paired with the Gucci hats and Prada sandals. Denim works on everyone. These are great looks!
