Until recently, as in the last year, I’ve shied away from cardigans. I didn’t find them flattering on me and if styled poorly, they looked rather frumpy. That changed with Jenni Kayne’s Stanford cardigan. I bought (and wore to death) the flax colored cotton/linen version from last year and was hooked. The cropped boxy fit felt contemporary and the perfectly positioned v-neck allowed for the sweater to be worn as a top on its own. Hoping it would be repeated this summer in a new color, a pretty cream option recently appeared on the JK site. It went straight into the cart and is headed my way.

I love it! What size did you order to be able to wear it on its own? The website doesn’t say what size the model is wearing so it’s sometimes difficult to gage the right fit.

Keri… I wear a small.

My ivory cardigan just arrived and the fit is spot on. Thank you for the sizing help! It isn’t quite “ivory”. Trying to decide if it is too yellow for my liking. What did you think Karima?

I agree that the color is more golden but it actually looks that way in the photo. I think it’s pretty and will look beautiful with white jeans (or blue).

It is pretty. Today I paired it with faded vintage Levi’s, black Oran sandals and a silver ring and cuff . . . for my big trek downstairs to the main level home office. :) The golden color brightened my day. Thank you Karima!
