I was browsing through the A Note on Style archives and immediately paused on the above right image. It’s from a post dated May 2015 and I still love everything about it. My plan was to delete old content (there are over 1500 posts) that no longer felt relevant, but so many look as good today as they did years ago. Bravo to me on consistency!
A close-up from Louis Vuitton Resort 2016 featuring several pieces I loved from the show, all in one shot…pants, sandals, bag, and rings.
Pants, slacks, trousers…whatever you want to call them, are looking better than ever. I’m ready for something new and a long, loose slouchy pair might just be the thing…especially in khaki.
Love or hate them, the comfort sandal is not going away any time soon. A slightly sleeker thong has a bit more polish than this year’s variety and looks especially stylish peeking out from the bottom of long pants…casual luxe at its best.
The bags at Vuitton have been getting better and better with Nicolas Ghesquiere at the helm. The classic top handled tote gets an edgy update with gold and silver diamond-shaped studs.
And forget little dainty rings. Wide cigar bands in leather, some with the LV logo, others with simple stitching, in a variety of colors make a bold statement.
